("God's Mission Protocol" Series 2, Post 3)
*Within God’s Prophetic Word, He references one of my stories. To hear this story, please watch my video with the same title: “God Wants to Loose His Love” under “God’s Mission Protocol” Videos. In this video I share my story of casting out a demon in a Christian bookstore in China, a place I never expected to encounter one. This demon reared his head when my teammates asked for discipleship material. We were looking for discipleship material to give to two Chinese girls that had just accepted Christ.
6-19-22 Father’s Day
God had me write this down:
I have a lot to say to you today. I am a good, good Father. That is what I am. In all things at ALL times I am good. Everything I do is out of love, especially discipline. Though it hurts for a time, joy always eventually arises. I discipline those I love. If My children didn’t undergo discipline, they would be illegitimate, but as it is, discipline comes and befalls all My children. This is often a message of the head. My children know this truth but are shocked and greatly displeased when it actually befalls them. My people, you need a paradigm shift. This world has greatly, and I mean GREATLY, distorted the definition of the word LOVE. This world teaches that love is self-indulgence and all kinds of pleasure. However, although I am the God of great joy, I can assure you that My definition of love greatly differs from what Satan teaches through the world. Christ didn’t come to indulge, to seek pleasure. In fact, even His teachings proclaimed hardship and sacrifice, denying oneself, taking up your crosses in order to follow Him, to be set apart. Love is discipline. Love is sacrifice. Love is eternal, not temporary. Christ came to point My people towards true love and sacrificed Himself to seal the deal. Everything Christ did was to point people to the Kingdom of God. He preached an eternal perspective, that life was meant to be lived for eternity, not the here and now. His flesh was then literally ripped from His body to show that the physical nature of existence is temporary and not what is the most important. What is important is your souls and your eternal existence within that soul. Life is short. My people, Christ Himself only lived 33 years. What a short amount of time. You were not made for this world. You were created for eternity therefore it is time to remember the TRUE teachings of My Son. It is time to remember what life’s true purpose is for, to prepare you for eternity. Although I delight in fun, joy, and in blessing My people with good things, Satan and this world has caused you to truly take this overboard. He has caused you to live for this world, to make your home here. THIS WORLD IS NOT YOUR HOME. THIS WORLD IS NOT YOUR HOME. This truth is not hidden within My Word, yet even still My people have forgotten this. Look up My people. Look up to the Heavens and breathe. Breathe deep and reflect, reflect upon this truth. Let Me fill you with My presence anew and My true purpose for you, purpose that points to eternity, to your eternal home with Me.
Discipleship. Disciple. Discipline. Reflect upon these words and Satan’s battle upon them. He doesn’t want you to experience discipleship or discipline because this is what makes true disciples, for it is true disciples that create change. It is disciples that make other disciples which brings revival and global transformation. Hear again My daughter’s story, true events that point out this ongoing battle. My people, Satan is real. He is present, and don’t think for one second that he is not in My church. He knows where the true battle lies, do you? False teaching. It has and is taking place. Watered-down truth. It has and is taking place. Distortion. True distortion of My Word is truly taking place and its route is discipline, the lack of true discipline and discipleship. Seeker friendly. Seeker friendly churches. You have gone too far. No one was more seeker friendly than Christ but He NEVER, NEVER watered down His message. He NEVER spoke love without truth, and He came to make disciples, leaving behind 12 that were commissioned to create more and more and more. God your Father, disciplines those He loves. Discipline. Discipleship. Disciples. Be disciplined. Be discipled and make disciples. The next generation My people need you to once again surrender to this practice in order to see truth, My truth undistorted. What a world they are growing up in. Change it My people. You have the power to change it. You change it by returning to the true source, to the source of truth in LOVE. I am your Father therefore return to My truth, to My discipline that I may make you a true disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. This world needs your light. It needs the true, pure light of Christ, unfiltered by the world.
My pastor stood up and was inspired to read from Ezekiel 37 where God gave life to dry bones. Ezekiel 37:1-10 NIV says,
The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
A vast army. That gives me chills. God breathed new life in them, through prophecy, to turn them into a vast army. Awesome!
Discipleship My people. It’s time for true discipleship. Dry bones return. Return to Me that I may breathe new life upon you, true life eternal. Return. Return to Me. Look away from this watered-down world and return to the source of true Living Water. It’s time. Time. Time. Time. Time. Return. Return. Return to the source of true love, to the One who disciplines those He loves. I love you. I LOVE YOU! Amen and amen.
We had a guest speaker and the first thing out of his mouth perked up my spirit greatly. He gave the date his daughter was born which was August 10. If you’ve journeyed with me at all, you may recall the significance of this date in my life. You cannot mention this date without causing me to think about the events of this particular date in my life. On August 10, 2007 God commissioned me. He told me His purpose for me. At the time, I was listening to a speaker talk about shadow missions. Shadow missions are when we take the reins and begin to do things our way, apart from God. We can even take things commissioned by God and distort them when we begin to take control and stop seeking God in the process. I have talked about this date and this concept in previous messages, but more happened that day then I have talked about. On that day, God began to speak to me on a deeper level. Previously He had spoken through sentences and simple comments through His still small voice, but this was the first day that His thoughts begin to flood my mind at such a rapid pace that I began to write and write and write in my little journal that they gave us for this conference.
Through this, God also began to show me an important truth, or at least He continued to teach me this truth that He had actually already begun to teach me, that God uses His people, that we are meant to be vessels for Him. He particularly uses those that are right with Him to be vessels for Him. That day, God took me on a journey to show me this truth. For, being a leadership conference, there were different leaders from different areas of life that spoke to us, and not all of them were Christians. Anyway, when a Christian spoke, God’s words flooded my mind and my hand wrote at a pace that felt like a mile a minute. I kept picturing a cartoon character writing so fast that smoke actually comes up from the page. It made my hand tired, and I can only imagine what my friends sitting next to me thought, probably the same things those that sit next to me in church nowadays think. But then, when a non-Christian spoke, not a word. God was silent and my hand got a break. Although these breaks were nice, I knew that what God was showing me was not. This went on all day.
God then inspired me to look back onto my testimony and to see how He had always used the Body of Christ, or those right with Him. I remembered that CD of mixed men love songs that was playing when God performed a miracle for me in the clouds. If you remember, there was only one Christian song on that CD by Michael W Smith and God chose to perform that miracle when his song came on, not when a secular artists song came on. There was another miracle in my life that preceded that one that took place in a Thai restaurant. But, it’s important to note that this one was particularly a Christian Thai restaurant, even having a cross in their logo. There are many more examples, but I don’t have enough time to share them all here. But I do want to point out why I keep saying “right with God.” For God went on to teach me that you can be a Christian and still not be right with God. You can be so locked in sin and a shadow mission that although you don’t lose your salvation, you can still become a vessel for the enemy. This happened to me in my own testimony. You can ask my husband Joe. There was a time in my journey that I wanted Joe so badly, (or my idol worship desiring the love of a man more than God) that I took up a shadow mission, walking away from God. Steeped in idol worship I only had one focus, pursuing Joe. Joe will tell you how ugly I was during that season. He didn’t want to have anything to do with me. I had turned away from God and had given into the enemy’s deception. God also, later when I looked back onto my testimony, opened my eyes to see which friends or family members in my life that the enemy used to fueled this shadow mission. It became clear that my epic battle to believe God’s promise was a spiritual battle and that Satan didn’t use many non-Christians to discourage me. Instead, he used Christians that were around me, Christians that I know now were not firmly walking with the Lord.
Back to the sermon, after sharing the date his daughter was born, the guest speaker said that to his fear over becoming a father that God said to him, “Let me father you so you can father your daughter.” What a wonderful statement that represents the heart of God and sums up what He spoke to us on Father’s Day. God longs to return us to true discipline, mostly for future generations. God is a generational God, from one generation to the next discipleship is important. It is important to make future disciples.
A verse that God then strongly brought to my mind was Ephesians 5:1-2 NLT which says, “Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.” A phrase then entered my mind strongly: “Imitate God. Go to the Vine.” John 15:5 NIV says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
God then brought another theme from my life to my mind, for God continued this teaching for a very long time. I don’t have time to share it all with you now. But anyway. God eventually began to use a series of movies to show me this concept of “Imitate God. Go to the Vine,” particularly the movie “Timeline.” Within this movie, people go back in time in order to solve a problem. The machine that they us to go back in time is like a fax machine. Therefore, every time they went back in time and came back to the current time, this machine would alter their bodies slightly just like a fax machine does to a piece of paper. God began to show me that this is what has happened to His body, the Body of Christ. For, if you take an original piece of paper, a hand written piece of paper, and faxed it or essentially made a copy of it and then faxed it again or made another copy of that copy, you would begin to see major distortions to the point where you probably wouldn’t even be able to read the message anymore. This is what has happened to God’s people. This is why we are in need of a major paradigm shift or a return to Him and His Word. We have been on a shadow mission. We have been making a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy. We have been letting other people from the pulpit tell us what the Word of God says instead of go to the Bible for ourselves, instead of sit at Christ’s feet ourselves. We have stopped going directly to the Vine, to the original source. No wonder our world is in shambles. No wonder so many people have started to distort the Word of God.
Eventually on my journey, God began to teach me that whenever I went into a church or to a new Bible study to actually stop and ask Him if He appointed this particular person to speak to me that day. It wasn’t just about questioning whether they were truly a Christian or not, but if they were truly walking with the Lord, able to be a pure vessel for the Holy Spirit. And well, sadly I cannot even tell you the amount of times God said “No” to my question, telling me that He hadn’t appointed certain people to speak. He began to show me in great detail how many times He did not appoint pastors or guest speakers and because of this, because of the fact that the congregations never seemed to question the God-given authority of these individuals, but simply listened, more and more distortion was laid before me by the power of the Holy Spirit. It was not a pleasant time in my life, I will admit. However, with ears wide open, God began to take me on a journey to actually see the false teaching that was going on in my city, in various churches. He took me on a journey to attend many different churches and I saw and heard things that shocked me and that I know hurt the heart of God. Eventually, instead of attend these churches that I knew had appointed leaders that God did not appoint, I simply sat out in my car on Sunday mornings and prayed. I prayed over these churches that God would bring light to the darkness. Shortly after, the pastor of all of these churches were kicked out. Most of them were eventually exposed for having dealt with money inappropriately, stealing it from their congregation. And I never said a word. No one knew about the journey God was taking me on. No one knew what God had exposed to me about these pastors, and no one knew that I was out in my car praying. But God knew and He answered my prayers and these false teachers were exposed. God was speaking.
I wasn’t sure why God wanted me to share my China story. I wondered how it would fit in with what God could possibly say on Father’s Day, but I see now that it fits perfectly. As the guest speaker also went on to mention, “We are meant to imitate the Father. He is not trying to imitate us.” He then said that “We need to know God so that we can reflect Him well, be a true reflection, not a distortion of the truth.” Again, God doesn’t want us to be a copy of a copy of a copy of the truth.
One of the pastors that ended up being kicked out by his church had actually had been on a mission to create the perfect church. Before he started this new church in town, He had spent a season of his life traveling around the country, visiting different churches in order to pick out the best qualities to copy in order to form what he considered the perfect church. Talk about a copy of a copy of a copy. He was on a shadow mission to create the next mega church, to be the next rockstar pastor. Maybe he should’ve spent all of that time sitting at the feet of the true Rock instead. And let me end on this, I’ve never attended a more seeker friendly church than the church he started. There was no true discipleship happening there, just a bunch of seeds being scattered. I wonder how many of them truly took root, especially after he was exposed. Many people probably fell away after that. I can only imagine.
None of us are perfect. We are sinful. Praise God for the Blood of the Lamb and for existing this side of the cross. But there is a difference between making a mistake through which God can discipline us and distortion, due to reflecting this imperfect world. Although we are sinful, we must still be right with God and we do this by continuing to go back to the original source, to the Vine, not copying other branches. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being humbler and going back to, returning each time to the One who is the Vine. This is how we remain right with God and able to be true vessels for Him and His Holy Spirit.
The guest speaker went on to talk about the prodigal son in Luke 15, mentioning that when you separate yourself from the Father that it’s all downhill from there. For that prodigal son, things just got worse and worse and worse until he was literally wallowing in pig slop. But God is always there to take us back. As the speaker pointed out, “That son got up, arose, and went back to the father.” Doesn’t that sound familiar? That is the main theme of “God’s Unfolding Message” through my life. It has been for us to get up, to arise and shine, and to return to Him. Just like in the story of the prodigal son, it’s the Father who seeks us so that he can restore us. That father ran as he saw his son returning home. He then took him as he was, stinky, covered in pig slop, and was the one to clean him up and restore him to what he was before, placing a rob on him and a ring on his finger. Like the guest speaker said, “It’s time to put that ring on.” God is waiting to also give us His very best. To breathe new life into these dry bones. Then like the guest speaker went on to say, “People will be blessed as you get to know your Father. If the church universal will come to know the Father, what kind of impact can we have?” If we return to the True Source, the True Vine, we know the answer to that question. We will become God’s Wonderful Web of Wonder – His Vast Army! Amen and Amen!
*If you haven't read of watched "God's Unfolding Message," please consider going back and starting this journey from the beginning. After all, God uses testimony to prepare and equip for the battle. God bless you!
