("God's Unfolding Message" Series 1, Post 12)
*This is a continuation of an unfolding message. It would greatly benefit you to go back and watch and/or read previous messages within "God's Unfolding Message" so that you fully understand what the Lord is saying. It is a wonderful word so I pray that you will take the time to hear it all.

My last devotional revolved around 2 Chronicles 20 which includes one of my favorite verses.
“He said: ‘Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.’” - 2 Chronicles 20:15
As I sat down in church, I admired my sparkly royal purple toes. As I was looking at my feet, I realized that I had left my teacher letter in the car so I quickly went to get it. After placing it in the box in the foyer, as I walked back towards the sanctuary, I noticed that there was a container of new pens. My spirit perked up as I took notice that they were royal purple this time. The pen matched my royal purple toes. It also matched the sash that hung over the cross and under the crown of thorns in front of me. As I began to try out this new pen, I noticed that the ink flowed so smoothly that it literally was like the ink was driving or controlling the pen itself and also my writing. It was unusual. I don’t think I’ve ever used a pen whose ink flowed that smoothly.
I then heard:
My Queen, write these words down: Be filled My people, filled with the Refiner’s fire. Let My Holy Spirit fill your lives that He may smoothly flow through you like the ink within a newly used pen. I have stories to write, stories that will flow through your lives that brightly shine for future generations. Your children will need these stories - YOU need these stories, for it will be these stories that you will look back upon to gain the strength you will need while within the desert. Such stories will empower you because such stories will be filled with My power, My presence, and My victories within your life. You will look upon these stories and remember that I am faithful. I fight your battles always, so let Me fight the ones before you. This season of testifying and of truly seeing My hand within your life IS Me fighting the battles to come. These stories will proclaim the battle already won. Let Me equip you My people, fully equip you. Like this new pen My daughter writes with, let Me fill you anew that My Spirit may freely flow through your lives. You are meant to be My vessels, nothing more, nothing less. You need nothing more than My very presence within you. Rejoice My people. Rejoice My Royal Priesthood, sons and daughters of the Lord most high. With Me within you anew you will shine. You will rise and shine and be unstoppable - UNSTOPPABLE! Unstoppable My people. As a people truly filled with My Spirit and called by My Name, what can Satan truly do to you? Where will death’s victory be? Nothing and nowhere! NOTHING and NOWHERE! To fight the battles ahead all you will need is Me and My Spirit poured freshly within you. Cry out Susan. Cry out My love. May My people hear My words through your precious lips. Proclaim truth, everlasting truth. Rise up My people. Hear My words. This woman is My mouthpiece. Hear Me and rise up, arise. Come alive! Regenerate. Renew. Discover Me again. Come back to Me with all your heart. I will be found by you. I have not moved but you have strayed. You have given into the drunkenness of time and Satan’s deception. But no more. I declare My Kings and Queens free, full of life. No more half-lives. No more indifference. Rise up. Rise up and shine My Stars. Shine Christ’s light for the world to see. You were NOT made for this world so stop finding your comfort here. Come instead to the desert. I will meet you there in all My fullness. Though it looks desolate I can assure you that you will find all you need there for I am there. I am but a small step of faith away. I stand between you and the promised land. Come to Me. Come My Kings and Queens, come. Come in faith. I will not disappoint. I WILL NOT DISAPPOINT.
You know that although every believer is given My Spirit when they accept Jesus that He lays dormant unless unleashed. My Spirit has been quenched for far too long Susan. Unleash Him My people. Unleash My Spirit. He desires to flow through you smoothly and unhindered. A life driven by My Spirit, oh My people what a glorious day - when not just a few will know how this feels but all. This is meant for all of you. Experience Him and in doing so experience Me in all My fullness. You cannot fully experience Me without the fullness of My Spirit. But He is quenched, quenched by most, but can you imagine a day when not just a few experiences Him fully, but all that I call and summon. Oh, what a day. Oh, what a day. I long for such a day and My people such a day will happen. Such a day is upon you. This is My New Spring. This is life within the desert. This is that spring of living water that Jesus offered the Samaritan woman at the well - life, full life. Drink My people. Fill that quenching thirst. Fill that hunger and longing. Often when people feel hungry, they are actually thirsty. Quench your thirst. Drink. Be filled. All you have to do is believe. It’s that easy. Believe. Take that step of faith My people and believe. Flow My Spirit, flow. Flow among My people. Flow throughout their very beings. Flow. Flow. Flow. Flow. My Spirit never runs dry.
My pastor stood up at this point and brought up Matthew 9 which talks about the need for putting new wine into new wineskins and said, “I believe God is doing new things in our midst. He is the God of restoration, of newness. We are the new wine, brought out at the end.” He was referring to Jesus’ first miracle at a wedding of turning water into wine (John 2). He talked about how, as that passage mentions, that usually the hosts of the weddings used the good wine first and brought out the worst wine at the end of the feast when people were already drunk. Jesus however, turning that water into fresh, new wine, caused those hosts to offer the best wine towards the end. My pastor continued by saying, “God is doing something fresh and new in your life. I believe you can be the new wine. Lord, open us up to this new thing You are doing among us.”
Christ performed His first miracle at this wedding, proclaiming that He offers us new, that He makes us new, always. Friends, we are near the end, but it isn’t time to give into drunkenness, settling on or taking in old wine and continuing to party the night away. Instead, just as Jesus used water intended for ceremonial washing, turning it into new wine, the best kind of wine, we, covered by the blood of our Bridegroom, need to instead come alive, be revived, and be made NEW for there is still work to do.
Susan, a life filled and flourishing by My Spirit. This is something I desire for all My people. This is the abundant life I offered the Samaritan woman. I offer this to all. Whoa to those who will reject this, who have rejected this. Most of My people are within the midst of rejecting this though they don’t know they do but you cannot live this abundance, this full life without the fullness of My Spirit. Let My Spirit out My people. Resurrect Him within you. The choice is yours. Step out in faith and believe. Believe that My Spirit lives within you and desires to rise and shine, shine Christ’s light in this ever-darkening world. Kings and Queens shine. You are My Stars and I command you to shine. This isn’t a harsh command, it is one that brings life - life to you, this world, and your future generations. Be My Wonderful Web of Wonder. Be My Stars aligned, shining the light of Jesus Christ by the power of My Holy Spirit. This light will bring life and restoration. I promise.
“Do not quench the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt but test them all; hold on to what is good,” - 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21
